Club 55 takes the protection of your data seriously. This page explains, in plain terms, what information we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are.

The data controller is SOGAT, represented by its President.
2. What we collect, and why
The contact form
When you use the form, we receive the information you enter: your name, your e-mail address, your telephone number if you provide one, and your message. We use this information solely to reply to you.
Only the name, e-mail address and message are required: without them we could not handle your request.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your IP address
When the form is submitted, your IP address is attached to the message and kept on the server for no more than one hour. This is used only to limit automated submissions by bots. It is not used for any other purpose.
Server logs
As with any website, our hosting provider o2switch technically records connections (IP address, date, page requested). These logs serve security and the proper operation of the service. We do not use them for audience measurement.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or exchange your data.
- We send no newsletter and build no marketing database.
- We use no analytics, no advertising and no social network pixel.
- We take no automated decisions about you and build no profile.
4. Who has access to your data
Your messages are sent to the Club 55 administrative office and are read only by the people responsible for answering them.
o2switch (Clermont-Ferrand, France) hosts the website and the mailbox; it acts as a processor and does not use your data on its own behalf. The servers are located in France.
No data is transferred outside the European Union, with one exception: if you choose to display the Google Maps map on the Access page, your browser then connects to Google's servers. The map is never loaded without your click. See our cookie policy.
5. How long we keep it
- Messages received through the form: as long as needed to handle your request, then no more than three years after our last exchange.
- IP address kept for bot protection: one hour at most.
- Technical logs held by o2switch: according to its own retention period, usually a few months.
6. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over information concerning you: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection and portability.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France.
7. Security
The website is served over HTTPS. The form is protected against automated submissions and against attempts to hijack the mail service. The data you send us is not stored in any database: it travels by e-mail to the administrative office.
