1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise you from one visit to the next and to remember certain information, such as your preferences.
2. This website sets no cookies
Apart from the map described in section 3, this website sets no cookies on your device, and uses neither local storage nor browser fingerprinting.
In practical terms:
- no audience measurement (no Google Analytics or equivalent);
- no advertising network, no social media pixel;
- no third-party service loaded automatically: images, stylesheet and fonts are all served from club55.fr.
That is why this website shows no consent banner: there is nothing to consent to.
3. The map on the Access page
The Access page offers a map provided by Google Maps. This map is not loaded automatically: it only appears if you click the « Show the map » button. Until you do, no data is sent to Google.
If you do click, Google then receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, in accordance with its privacy policy. Loading the map counts as your consent, for that visit only: the map remembers nothing and you will need to click again next time.
You can find your way to Club 55 without displaying the map: the address is written out on the page, and the address link opens your usual navigation app.
